My R1 is 13750, thats high for a 1000. I going to say a 600 does but I don't know which one.

the CBR250RR's redline is 19,000 rpm!!!!!! too bad its not available in the states, you can get them, but you'll pay a premium and titling it might be alot of work

as for readily available bikes in the US off the top of my head i would say the 2004 gsx-r 600 has the highest at 15,500 like you said

The smaller the cc'd bike the more you have to wring it's neck for power; meaning a higher redline. Most 1000's don't redline much past 10k; as most 600's are 13.5k and up.

mine actually tach's out at 12,250... same year 600's obviously rev higher, but it wasn't that long ago that 12k would have been average for a 600

Most of the F series CBR's are generally the same. F3-F4 is virtually no different.

Smaller displacement motor = small pistons = less rotating mass = high redline

Same principle applies to twins having lower redline than fours. A 1000cc twin's pistons are twice the size of a 1000cc four's pistons, which obviously puts more stress on the rotating parts so you can't safely rev them as high.

My 500cc twin redlines at 10K
