But seriously, just show up early. There are 100 cars signed up for that event (damn, no fun runs !!) so there will be a few who don't show up. Hell, I don't have any seats in my car at the moment and might not make it. If that happens and you really want to go I can give you my spot.

We will run everyone who shows up and gets teched. We would like to close registration by the time of the drivers meeting, 10:30 or so. Get everyone through tech by 11:00 'cause the tech inspectors are driving also and want to get ready.

 

Well I don't have any R's yet either. I have been running on Kumho MXs the past 2 events (which I would recommend to you for your next set of street tires, BTW). I am planning on having some R's for this event though.

 

Well Donna and I are probably going to drop from this event. We are going to Peru, IN for the July 4th event and want to save our tires for that. I am also secondary on call that weekend. I could probably get someone to cover for me but that would mean I would have to reciprocate and I think I should just stay home and finish setting up the on-line shopping cart for the Ruritan group like I need to.

Actually, he does. The wheel/tire combo you see on my car in my sig pic are Jerry's and I don't think he has run on them since that pic was taken (maybe once or twice). Jerry is still dealing with his "engine."

 

its amazing how much faster cars register for acu than fentress. i registered last week and there were only slots in the 90's left. oh well. i'll be there, my tires suck BAD from doing them but i'll have fun anyways.
