Not sure how much your exhaust weighs now... but the super-cheap/thin tubing (which isn't pretty, and won't last forever but I just don't care) I'm using for my straightpipe weighs 4 pounds vs. 22 for the stock muffler. You might be able to shave some weight by going to a similar setup with a Supertrapp welded on the end.

for my streetcar though, i dunno if i can go around listening to the sound of that thing everyday. I have the GReddy EVO which is a pretty good straight through design, which probably loses a bit of torque, but gains a bit of horsepower....which might make them even closer. my engine is 145hp/156tq stock. i'm not really worried about the exhaust right now.

I dunno. It seemed like it needed a bit more horsepower to me.

You have no idea how hard Scott and I were laughing... watching Dave and Andy peel out off the line, Lonnie trying to drag his trailer along at the same pace, and the poor Cavalier trying very hard to keep up with all of you.

You laughing, I can understand. Scott, however, has no room to laugh at his car whore self.

haha. well, i could have taken the set of wheels and tires out, the two jacks, the set of tools, extra quarts of oil, jumper cables, and whatever other junk was in the tub, then maybe i could have beaten the SE-R instead of just run with it oh, wasn't there a right bend in the road too that helped you out, lol. at least now if you beat me at autox, i know it's not from the straight line speed.

and chris, i didn't even realize the cav was trying to keep up, lol.
