DOHC turbo vs SOHC turbo ? which is better
i personally love sohc turbo....y8 w/a greddy kit, went 14.1 @100 untuned and stock internals at 8 psi....i believe its cheaper to go single cam turbo...and u can make just as much power as the dual cam....but then again, im a single cam girl...
stock zc can probably hold about 10 psi on the stock block...

more CFM available to use, more power. More revs, more power. DOHC usually has twice the valves, which usually means that it will make more power than a similarly equipped SOHC.
the SOHC honda's are all 16 valve...
Like I have said before.. There have been d16's that have made it to the 600 whp range.. now if you need more than that, well good luck.. in getting more hp than that as well as layin it down to the ground!
there really isnt much reason to go DOHC in my opinion, besides tuning issues..

well im gooing sohc turbo i have everything all i need now is a new clutch and some one to help install the kit and all the wiring of my shiet..
the reason people go SOHC is cost. i can get new shortblocks for cheap as fuck...next to nothing....B series shit costs. also, you can make good power out of the SOHC so dont know them. the B's are built better overall but like i said...parts are more expensive if and when you really fuck something up. and if you need help let me know. just tell jeremy to get a hold of me.
