thanks for posting it, i always find out about HT meetings by seeing the pictures posted after the fact but i've been wanting to come out for a while, since the meet spot is literally one mile from my house. I'm leaving for a track day that afternoon so I'll just stop by there on my way out, I'll be in my friend's cadillac trailering a Ducati and Suzuki gsx-r, so we should stand out, so say hi if you see us.

just because its a mile from my house doesn't mean i can sense its there, i don't live on the top of a giant hill that has a perfect view of all for miles around me, there are things called trees, houses, cars, etc. blocking my view of whats 100 yards away, no way i can see clearly a mile away, i don't drive circles around the lot for days on end waiting for them to show up... and i don't post or read honda-tech so why would i know about it in advance, i just see pics posted and always say to myself "damn thats right around the corner, wish i had know ahead of time"

Wow you must not get out much. Hell there are cruise ins literally a mile from my house as well and I usually see them because I am about see all the cars parked, and people,or talk to many who go to them. Maybe if you read a message board more often you will find out about the car shows, and not expect to magically find them. Yes, I must be the idiot. Then again, I am not complaing or commenting on missing car shows that are right next to my house.

if it was a bike thing i'd most likely know about it, but i'm no longer in the car 'scene' so i wouldn't really hear abou them... and i'm not complaining and i don't really even care, i just always kind of think to myself after i see the pics i wish i had know about it and i would have checked it out, no big deal either way if i go or not, if it was more than 10 minutes away i would probably honestly have no interest in going... you obviously don't know where the park 'n ride is, but you can't see it from the road, unless your getting onto 64 West and purposely look back, and i never get on 64 west there so even though its so close its not like i drive past it

and again, could you be more wrong... i'm not a noob, i've been on here for a bit, i just usually choose not to post in here because the threads don't interest me and if i wanted to socialize with people that act like 15 year old girls i would, well, hang out with real 15 year old girls

since you are all so "tight" in here i think you forget its a public forum, if she had posted a for sale ad or something i could understand a reaction, but like she said its simply something to do on a sunday, there is no reason what so ever that we need to know anything about her for her to post that, simply read it and if you dont like it move on... if you don't like it then go start your own private forum and you can moderate who gets into your club house... and try not using 'fuck' before and after every word you say, it would make you sound alot more intelligent and alot less like a 8 year old having a temper tantrum, and thats bad coming from me, i cuss alot

 

I read them as much and still get out much more. Hell I am on probably 10+ boards and actively posting on all of them.

It is not about a public forum. The point is you are a stranger to a forum that is all friends that do everything together. Do you honestly think they all are gonna drop what they are doing and go run over to that person when asked to? In another post she made a comment that we did not come to her party. The point is we all know each other, work on each others rides, help each other, party together, eat out together. So if someone who "we" do not know starts posting about not coming to a party or wonders why nobody is coming to an event, should figure something out.
A. Should I be noticed and come to a gathering or an event at the track
B just not worry about it and make a post in the "events" section on a public forum.

Wow, I sincerely hope you do not speak for everyone in this section. No I don't know you personally, but everytime I peek in here I feel like I've wandered into a daycare center, or like someone else say drama-central. I just happened to click on Central out of boredum and yes this thread obviously interested me, but not because of the bickering, I would have just read it and gone to the meet, maybe said a thanks to her for giving a heads up, but then I saw you running your mouth like a moron and felt like commenting, about the whole pot calling the kettle black thing please do not confuse yourself, our conversations are not on the same level, I'm just giving you some suggestions on how you might want to conduct yourself on a semi-public forum(you were coincidentally kind of correct in saying that dragva is not a public forum, Eng has said many times stated it is private forum when people call it a public place like I just did, but my point is anyone that is a member of Drag is more than welcome to post in Central, it is not yours). And I really couldn't care less if you keep cussing or not, I just usually take people more seriously if they can talk to other people like reasonable respectful human beings, not that you care.

And I too am active on several boards, I even moderate a couple forums on SuperHonda(woo hoo) that doesn't mean I should necessarily know about every meet, maybe I'm just not as cool and in the loop as you.

And lastly she never said "please please come to this meeting, if you don't show up your a loser and I hate you", she just granted an invite on something some of us might not have otherwise known about, I've never seen a person take an invite to an event so personally and twist it so far out of context, but thats what drama queens are best at. Oh wait one more thing, you criticize me for stirring up shit from the "past"(this thread isn't that old) yet you keep bringing up some old thread of hers about a party? What was that you were saying about the kettle again?
