Actually, the speedo is not required equip here in Virginia and is known by every judge who sentences a dumbass trying to weasel out on a technicality. The old "speedo was off" still works as a good faith gesture for an equipment failure if you are polite witha first offense, though. Attitude, humbleness, and cooperation are key in the courtroom.

 

wrong.. my 15+ was only on for 3 years.. 20+ is 5 years.. i know cause i still have 2 lefts on my 94 in a 65. My mom works at DMV.

Also in MOST cases ur INS will never know about the ticket i've gotten many and INS never found out about them til lot later. It's like they get a meno to up your ins, they check every`now`n`then but not weekly.

Even when they do just got a better INS company. Progressive is nice cheap for me only 1,000 for 6 months.... I have like 5 tickets and drive a 98 GSX (coupe, newish, trubo and awd).
