I don't know how quickly you will be able to get hondata... Depends on how quickly hondata comes out with a new version... I am pretty sure they have to make changes due to whatever mechanical and ECU changes have occurred.

Well I plan on purchasing a car in March of 2005. So hopefully by then hondata might have something out.

Cause the new 2005 RSX Type S is 210HP@ 7800rpm & the Redline is at 7800rpm as well.
the 05 redline is 8100, don't know what the fuel cut is...

shit they dont have hondata out for the 05, dont expect it for awhile..it took hondata a hella long time to crack the codes on the current RSX. its like so many fuel maps cause of ivtec, but you Iraq so you got plenty of time to wait Tran...lol.

I mean i would get an 02-04 model rsx if you are just getting one for the motor..unless you like that ugly ass front and rear..the first RSX looks better to me..the body lines flow so smooth.

if iwas you i would the CAI, race header, exhaust, then Kpro. I think people are tyring to see if the current mods out fit teh new motor...but i dont think you will pick up major gains like the k20a2 does.

oh well 05 rsx is ugly and all that means is......NO DC-5 ITR for the states...

IMO that would be a waste of money.

You're going to pay the $700 for Hondata with a single mod, when you're just going to have to pay another $100 to reflash hondata with other mods?

Why not bolt everything up while waiting for the program to come out, and then get the full benefit of the program?

Hondata is not 700, it is 600 now for a basic flash. IMO I wouldn't get anything other than Hondata's K-Pro when it comes to the ecu. Tune every mod...

ok back to the topic. hence that V-TEC and V-TEC-i are almost the same but have one slight difference between them. okay with toyota i know most of you guys have heard of VVTi. (Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence) The way toyota works is that they control the intake sides timing with oil pressure by advancing it. Now with V-TEC it runs on a certain rpm range to engage. With VVT-I it contiously changes during driving by changing is mechanical timing. Now with V-TEC-I, Just combine VVTI and V-TEC together and you get a general idea how V-TECI works.
