no, because then i have to loop up from richmond and go back down. it would probably be a half hour longer drive, not to mention the trafic. 460 is the greatest way to get there, its a 100 mile straight shot 4 lane road with barely any traffic.

 

Well shit. I hope someone that know how to get there that lives on the peninsula chimes in here.

Id like to go, but i dont get off work till 3:30 friday, and i wont be able to leave until probably an hour after that. Maybe next week or whenever their scheduled to run again.

 

I'm going.... You guys from the penninsula should come down our way. I live just off Northampton Blvd so it's a 25 min drive from NN. I'd say meet up around 2:30 and roll. Might be a bit of traffic in the tunnel by downtown but other than that it'll be good. Plus I do know how to get there.

You can still make it up there in time to run. We're leaving early just because. They dont actually start racing until 6 i think, the gates open @ 5. If you're coming from the SS, it'll probably be a 1:30 to 1:45 drive depending on if you hit traffic right before suffolk.
