E-30 M3 ..... :dreams: ....... :erection: ....... :ejaculates:

Yeah ... nice rides if you can find a good one for a decent price ! Look at spending @ 8K+ for a decent one .

As for the s/c 1.8 VW .... It's called a G60 . Came in Corrados , Canadian Passats , and euro only Rally Golfs ( yum ! ). G60 swaps in Golfs are da dilly !! But be warned of the G60 .... chargers are unpredictable and expensive to rebuild . Mine is goin to KK ( Kompressor Kanada ) soon . Im lookin at $700 for the basic , but you KNOW I gots to upgrade dat beotch !! And if you ain't happy with the boost a stock G-ladder ( the G60's charger ) and it is in good shape .... throw on a smaller pulley , do a few fuel upgrades , cam , DAMN !! G60ING is the local authority on those engines , but there isn't a chance in hell that he would get involved with another swap job !!

rabit pickup, vr6 or 1.8t swap, AWD. You can have this done. I have a friend locally who have one with a 16v swap, recaros and a momo steering wheel. Its actually really quick.

Maybe this is a G60 thing but most S/C setups are extremely predictable. Expensive to rebuild, yes i'll agree to that. But i don't know about the 'unpredictibility' factor.

I WISH!

if i had an SC on my SHO i'd be pushing like at least 290FWHP. it'd be beast. Besides they only make a S/C kit for 5spd SHO's, nothing for automatics

The G-charger is a funky little beast ! It boosts like a mutha , but put too many RPMs to it and .... BOOM !! I am either getting a rebuild on mine or goin with a brown new one in the next few weeks ! ( Hondas beware !! ). Also goin stage 3 !

well if it doesn't have a great top end why not swap in a smaller pulley? that should keep it from blowing at higher RPM's. But it will take a hit for your bottomend. Sounds like somone needs an aftermarket hoagie....
