How much should street tuning Hondata be?
do you realize how much R&D goes into a factory ECU tune? ALOT more than tuning on an aftermarket standalone. simply putting on a standalone with a base tune you usually lose HP. so gaining that 22hp in 5 min. was based upon the same thing any tuner does to a base program.
i just dont want people to think he can achieve the same thing with every car. i've seen some setups fall face first on the dyno, no matter who the tuner is. even one of mine did this recently.

ccc is a great shop and everyone there is very smart when it comes to hondas and nissans and they have been around for a long time its just that in the last 3-4 years they started doing performance work for the public the owner brady has built all of his own cars and still holds several records at several tracks along the east coast and as far as the hondata tuning you pay for what you get brady is an authorized hondata tech and dist. he burns his own chips on site... at the cnu car show just by 5 minutes of tuning on his itr he gained 22 h.p. give him a shot you will be happy in the long run and everyone else is rite you are paying for there time and experience and knowledge

i dont know anyone that says they can tune when in fact they cant.....ie blowing motors up due to incorrect ignition timing or A/F ratio for given fuel and boost or NA
i mean i've even seen setups i've recomended fall flat on their face on the dyno. my own daily car was one of them. I added cams and my extra standalone TEC II and it lost 3 hp over last years setup with no cams and stock ECU.

As for his 22hp gains. That was something that he had been working on and tried it on the street. He didn't just adjust something real quick and gain 22hp.
