I did that last night along with hard wiring both the vtec solenoid and the vtec oil pressure switch...

Could be bad oil pump, cloged oil jets, ECU not seeing correct operating temp!!! Those are my three best.

im guessing its not reading the correct engine temps , like the temp sensor is going bad

mine used to do that cause my oil press was low. Changed my oil and it fixed it. I was kinda low on oil too though
