find a cheap car and use that for all your racing pleasures.

Actually I was under the impression turboing the 2jz in the car is stupid expensive. 3sgte might be cheaper depending on the fabrication and such. The 3sgte will be lighter up front as well as giving you more hood room to work with. I'd personally just swap in the 3sge, but I like peaky n/a 4s.
Nm, thats a heavyass car. It'd be slow as a bitch with a 3sge. I wonder how the Japanese deal with that.

as for it in the is300, in japan the ones that came with the beams 3sge were rs200's
so far, the 3.0 and the vvti is lovely. i couldnt be happier with a stock car. but, if any of y'all knew me, it wont be long bfore theres atleast some rims and a drop on it.
i say if you're going to boost it be ready to shell out 10k-15k cause its definately not cheap...but if you're keeping it NA then focus on suspension...this car can outhandle alot of cars with just springs and sways...but dont spend assloads of money on NA power cause its hopeless the most you will make to the wheel with every NA app out there is maybe just maybe 200rwhp maybe a little more with tuning...but get some decent tread and a nice suspension setup and you will be extremely happy
