I've heard that some spin on the VATN concept is being used on some current Euro market Mercedes, don't know for sure..

personally, I don't think you can beat the sound of a roots type blower or the power curve they produce.

yeah, i dont plan on ever doing that to any car i own... basically because im 16 and dont have that kinda money, i was just wondering if it could be done on any car or only certain ones. thanks for the replies

Yes you can.... it's called twin screw, same power curve, but w/ 90% efficiency, it's the best.

Twin charged Volvo B234 (2.3l 16valve) in a custom tube frame Opel. Crazy fast car, crazy torque curve. Garrett GT40 and Eaton M62.
http://www.hilmersson-racing.com/bil.../bromsning.pdf Torque curve from dyno. pretty insane. Its since been tuned even better, I don't know where the improved sheets are.

That's the technology Mopar was using in the late 80's, just improved a little... it was on the Mopar 2.2L Turbo IV engine found in some Daytonas... 174HP stock with virtually no lag
