No. If you check them outside in the cold, you *will need* to adjust for the temp. It is not an "or".

Ok asshat, instead of me telling you how completely fucking wrong you are yet again, I went and found proof.
And by the way, if you live in the North and park in an attached or heated garage you will "lose" pressure when you leave its warmth and venture into the real world outside during winter. Add 1 psi "cold" pressure tire pressure to compensate for each 10° Fahrenheit temperature difference between the temperature in the garage and outside.
Your not qualified to argue with me on this.
Once again you've been proven wrong and once again I've shown that no one should ever except tech advice from you.

If you'd like to prove me wrong, pump up your tires like balloons in the freezing temp, then drive a few miles.

Again, if you read the tire pressure in freezing weather, you *will* need to adjust about 1 psi per 10*F. Because you are unable to read, I'll deduce that you're unable to perform simple math as well. If the outside temp is 25*F and room temp is approx 65*F, and your tire's pressure reads 30 psi, at room temp it would have read about 34 psi after the compensation for temperature.
This is why your uncle should never have married your father's sister and conceived you.

2. See #1.
I'm a bitter, bitter FWD driver right now.
ps, adjusting tire pressures in increments of 1psi for every 10* is fucking pointless. Most the time people's tires are in such horrible shape it doesnt matter what psi they are. The prick in his Jeep that thinks he is God because he has 4WD with perfect tire pressures will still find a way to wreck into you no matter what. Learn to drive with a shitty car with the wrong tire pressures and you'll be the smart guy that dodges the Jeep as he careens down an embankment...(this morning on Rt. 1.)
Ouch. Long commute in Ashland? Hope you weren't hurt.
The trouble with most cars is found between the seat and the steering wheel.
I've long lobbied the state legislature to extend the length of the learner's permit so that young drivers can gain more experience practicing before they are set out on their own.
I'm glad to hear that a few went out to try out their cars in parking lots to get a feel for how it performs on ice. True test is how they do out on the real road. There is no reset button like on a Playstation.
