Boardwalk Car Show
For the record, I am not putting on this show. I just wanted to know if anyone had any info on dates/times/registration. I found the info, and posted it for others who may be interested.
The VA Beach Boardwalk Car Show - 2005 will be a one day show on Saturday with Sunday as a planned rain date. There will be a Friday night party and Saturday night burnout contest as in the past. Beach Events is also setting up a two hour dinner and dance boat cruise on Saturday night. A section of the boardwalk is also being designated as a 'show and shine' area for those who do not want to participate in a judged show.
Any club's planning to be involved in the 2005 show should contact Bill Laurent at the tidewater Mopar Club. Information at www.moparmadness.info or (757) 858-8083. or Jim (757) 425-3111.

You know the cops are going to have a field day with the illegalities of cars cruising the oceanfront.
Illegal exhaust, window tint, lowered cars. they'll probably get the ballers now with that new law that banned spinners
Thats why they put it at the end of the month so all the pigs can get their quota's

I just got some info from when I emailed them yesterday so here it is
Hi Kali,
Your cars are welcome at the event. Imports & Tuners enter the
boardwalk at 22nd street. The American Drag Club also sponsors a
section of the boardwalk at 16th street. Either section would be good
for your group. Entry times for the boardwalk are 8-11am on
Saturday. Cars must stay parked during the high traffic periods of
11am-4pm (emergencies excluded)
Registration is $20. You can mail it in advance or register the day
of the event. Friday night there is a pre-registration party at
Ellington's Restaurant with a $10 Buffet. Saturday night there is a
burnout contest and a boat cruise. The boat cruise is $15 single, $25
couple and includes a dinner & cash bar.
If you want to be a vendor for the event, you can contact beach
events at (757) 425-3111 for information on how to be a vendor.
You can also go to beacheventsfun.com to get information about the
overall show. A registration form should be available at that site
soon. Our mopar site is somewhat specific to the section our Mopar
Club sponsors.
If you have any other questions, I will be glad to help. You can
also contact Leo Ortiz at Gold Key Resorts. Leo is the over all event
Coordinator. I put him as a cc to this e-mail
Hope this helps,
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.
