On the topic: The drop top was supposed to come out late 2003 but i guess they delayed it, its allready being sold over seas in OZ..........And I think some parts of europe as well...........Its hot as hell but Skywalker's right they should have at least made it an option for T-tops........its a International symbol to have a Zcar with T-tops.......

I saw the orange one in front of Victory today, they also have a blue and balck one beside it. Didn't see any Track models though.

I like the convertibale alot, but it's not for me. I wish they would wait longer to release it, that way some people might trade there's in for the drop top. Then I could buy their's used! Not enough money now though, maybe a couple of years.

 

I don't have some allegance to Honda. If Honda starts making shit cars I won't continue to drive a Honda. It's my opinion that Hondas are for the money the best cars on the road. Thats why I drive them. If I find another car that for the money is a superior car I will drive that. I could give a fuck about a name. I'm still not completely sold on a 350Z either. I like my S2000. It's by far the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel of a car. While the numbers the 350Z posts are right on par with an S2000 it's not as fun a car to drive. It is a little more comfortable though so we'll see. Like I said when the drop top come out we'll see. I might just jump ship.

The only thing it has in relation to 350z roadster at ALL is the fact that it's a roadster. And 30k+.

Hell, half the cars flip over on the autobahn, and nearly all of the 2001-2002's are complete lemons. I've never seen so much negative attitude/info towards a car than that, people have problems with everything. I used to be somewhat interested in one.

Of course these are pre '03, in which every 03 has the spoiler..etc..

 

1) 225hp in the turbo and 180hp in the ....yep, turbo.

2) Now-a-days 30k isn't a lot of money for a car.

3) 350Z isn't a roadster..The TT can be had as a roadster if you'd like.

4) problems with everything? They get light at high speed, I agree with that but they haven't had too many other problems...nothing out of the norm for a new car anyway

Thank you for clarifying that! You know they're still going to compare it to all the roadsters anyways. They've been comparing the original 350Z to the S2K for the past year.

 

I know, The S2000, RX8 and 350Z will be lumped into one catagory and compared constantly. Even though they aren't really even remotely the same thing. Look at the last test in Car and Driver. They threw the S2000 in there and then complained about it being loud and "nervous". The 350Z is a fantastic GT type of car. The S2000 is a fantastic performing bare bones roadster. The RX8 will be a fantastic car for those people that are in such an identity crisis they can't decide what the fuck they want.
