Actually now that I think about it, it's probably only being produced to meet homologation requirements by the ACO for the American LeMans series (race cars in certain classes have to be based on a production engine and chassis.)

well there is no doubt that they will build a V8 for production, but im sure it wont be this one who knows though.

Im not impressed. Twice the displacement as the typical Honda motor. Twice the cylinders as typical Honda motor. And yet, Honda still can't manage to get torque. 4.0L motor with 590hp, but yet they still only manage to get 383lbs/ft. Weak.
