i say get the hood "tinted" where they paint it somehow and the carbon fiber is colored a certain color but you can still see the weave pattern if not paint it all the way.

Saw your car at Best Buy over the holidays DoingOK, looked good as hell. Had to carry my bag in front of me as i walked to my car lol
As for the hood, I like the painted look.... I also like the painted hood with unpainted vents, but more on on the s2k than the 350z. Maybe still have paint on the vents, but only 1 coat or so, so its pretty transparent and the weave would still show through on the vents.
