Gas rationing?
there are worse sources of "funding terrorism" than buying some fucking gasoline....
and i agree with rexer, the govt already is limiting too many of our freedoms, i would not want another limitation
on a side note: do you realize that the war powers resolution was nullified by congress effectively giving president bush the freedom to do whatever he wants with the military anywhere in the world without approval from congress...in the name of 'national security'

These might help if any of you are deciding to go through with this. Finally if you're traveling and need gas (they have no stations in VA)

You ration your own gas. I don't want the government telling me I can't have the luxury of gasoline whenever I feel like it. It's not like our government doesn't make any money off of foreign gas sales anyway.

Edit: Although I brought this up I think I'll still use Shell gas....I've never had a problem and I'd like to keep it that way.....

This qoute is a direct reason of why we should read the whole post before posting ourselves.....This gas rationing theory has nothing to do with government inforcement it is merely a simple chain letter suggesting we boycott certain petroleum providers....The facts are, we cant due to the distances need to travel to get to an actuall station that does not import middle eastern petrolium products.......In fact More research shows that if we did boycott these stations it could plummet us deeper into resesion, which then would increase gas prices and hurt the american working man and woman........

I did read the whole post... why don't you read the first sentence of the chain letter. "Why didn't GW think of this." That means that whoever wrote it thinks gov't intervention would be a good idea. I'm just saying fark that.
