The 35mph road was 1/2 a mile long, probably 25 feet wide, and in an industrial section of the city. It was about 5-7 miles away from the nearest residential zone. I knew exactly what I was doing, people used to race down that road all the time. Dont act like you've never been that fast. The difference is, I dont do that shit with someone else in the car, I was by myself when it happened. I went through first second and third gears, and got out of it when i got to the top of third.

Dont give me your holier than thou shit unless you've never broken the speed limit at all. If you've ever street raced, you've done shit that was worse than what I've done. Besides, she only clocked me at 70 in a 35. Top of third ends at ~ 103 at 6000rpm, which is when i got out of it.

awesome, my speeding tickets were for crusing at 50mph through a speed trap that dropped down from 55 to 35 in 100 feet at 2am, and one for 42 in a 35 about 3 years ago. Both were me by myself on a road with noone else on it. I wasnt bragging about my speeding, i was stating that after my encounter, I dont do that dumb shit anymore. You can always go fuck yourself though.

The roads aren't designed for the type of speed you are talking about, most people don't have racing tires on their daily drivers, or the skill needed to drive at those speeds. It's your life you guys do what you want with them, hopefully your family doesn't get stuck footing the bill for you being stupid.

^lol I full agree that most people have no business going much over 90... the above mentioned incident I was driving out to Pungo for some auto-x and was back on the road by Va Speed. I then tuned left on London Bridge Ext. or is it Ships corner there? I dunno, but I decided to drop the hammer and go as fast as I could before I had to slow down. I was the only car on the road and the speed limit just happened to be 35 (no cross streets or anything). The cop had been on the Va Speed road when I passed him going fast (hadn't seen him).

I pulled immediately over with my liscence/registration ready... he didn't have any real speed on me and actually posts over on TWR, has a fast foxbody I think.

Oh well... I don't speed too much around here... lots of cops lately... need to keep my clean record
