It sounds funny to hear it and say it out loud......but I can say I wouldn't be laughing if I had to stage next to some of these cars at the strip http://www.relentlessracing.com/, because I'd get my ass handed to me........and yes, even funnier, those are Dodge caravans mid page that run mid 12's

 

dayum... i went to that site, the cars are ugly as balls, but fast as i dunno what. i wonder how much they spent on those mods and everything, ultimate sleeper right there. but around here no one would do it.

 

except me i have a 3.0 v6 it is havenin a turbo put in it right now i mean it is a custom turbo but it will be fast when its done

I agree, ugly as I don't know what......But if you're really big into having a sleeper, I think these cars win that category hands down, lol......That shop had also built a Dodge Aries that ran low 10's, I think the guy died that built it......There are actually a lot of neat little facts about that era of Dodge/Mopar compact cars....Not many people know it, but the Mitsu engines they were using in some of the platforms were 1st generation Lancer Evo motors, no turbo of course and a lot of other bolt on differences, but same block and whatnot...And the engines that were designed by Mopar actually had Lotus engineers giving input to the head designs and other shit.

I'd never buy one, but it's an interesting history.

 

thats the only reason i was laughing cuz it was funny to say and yes it mght be faster than my car but no way in hell would i be cought dead in one.....but good luck with the turbo

 

Anyone remeber the Dodge Lancer..I had an 87 Lancer 2.2 Turbo..There surprisinly quick, and handled preety damn good. Dodge Shadow replaced these cars.

 

i dont like the body style ether but i got it for free from a friend so i figured what the hell just put a intake that i had to custom make and some other bolt ons and i should be good, dont get me wrong i love imports but these cars are quick, if you live in newport news you proboly seen me, its white with steelies and a vibrant full catback exhaust maybe you guys have seen me, and before i moved here some of my boys had minvans some are on that site they are quick lol,
