i never met john drees, but that accident effected everyone in the towing community. and i've met bobby a couple times. my condolences to both families. hopefully it will end here, and no one else will try to take justice into their own hands.

if, and that is an if, because it hasnt been proven yet, it was some sort of retalitory thing, that's about the most immature thing ive ever heard and is completely uncalled for. i cant imagine taking a good father away from his family because of a mistake he made and was sorry for. but i think everyone should respect the woman that was killed as well and wait for the facts before slandering her family and such. theyve been through hell as well.

hard to believe a person is alive one moment, dead the next. im just glad to hear that they fought the dude off and went down fighting. it might take a while, but i bet they find a slip up somewhere. im sure the woman's family is under some serious heat right now and if they had any involvement, theyre gonna go down for it. its just so sad how he never had a dad and wanted to be there for his kids.
hopefully everyone comes together and helps the family out financially. geardoc i'll be sendin some money over tomorrow.

its scary what things happens these days. i mean, at any given minute, any given day, life can be completely stolen...and theres nothing you can do about it.
Who knows, It could be a completly seperate situation. You just never know what people get involved in now adays and are shocked when you find out the real reasons. It is quite peculiar this happens on the foot of the tow truck accident.

reminds me of that new country song help somebody if you can. dude says "if you wanna hear god laugh, tell him your plans."
life is so damn unpredictable. today i had this stuff on my mind a lot and i was at the bank takin care of some stuff and saw an old couple (prob 75) taking care of some mortgage issues. the whole time i wasnt even paying attention to the lady helpin me i was just thinking how lucky they are to have even lived to that age. we take a lot of stuff for granted as humans. hopefully this event will change the way people (and myself) handle events in their lives.
yeah, people taking so much for granted, and people even realize it, but dont care enough to change it. its sad that it takes an event such tragic as this to remind them of it and im not innocent either. it usually takes for something to happen for me to see it.
as for old couples, i cant imagine how much theyve seen come and go. and it is kinda lucky these days to live that old. although they probably dont agree with how the worlds gone, at least there still here, still alive.
i remember last summer, i went into this place to take some parts for my job and i went in there and i was complaning about the heat and the mosquitos and all of this mess, and there was this older lady there next to me, and she goes, "yeah, i could go without all that stuff, but im just glad im here, and not six feet underground." i just thought, wow, im in here complaining about this pointless bullshit, when i should be happy to be able to wake up every morning and live another day.

It's deffanetly a scary situation, it happend right down the road from me, I was driving past at about 6:45 that morning and I saw the cops pulling a gerny inside and putting up crime scene tape. I figured no, big deal a Robbery or somthing must of happened, but later that day I passed by it again and saw two local news trucks across the street at the church, so I thought damn somthing serious must of happened. So I went home and turned on the news and there it was. My GFs mom knew the women killed in the crash the month before, so I already knew about that and I was kind of getting the feeling that it might of been revenge or somthing. It's scary that it happend right around the corner from me, I guess Ill go and put something out there with the rest of the flowers in front of the house. Jutst shows you that you never know when your time is up.
if you see about 100 tow trucks in york county headed toward wolftrap road and maybe caskets on the back of one of them, you'll know why. funeral tomorrow. i'll be there in one of the briggs tow trucks.
they are being buried at the Amory (sp?) grave yard off wolftrap.
