if you want better pick-up get a manual. j/k the guy who made my chip also gave me the instructions on how to install it which had some mention of automatic transmission, but since it didn't apply to me i didn't pay in much attention. your best bet is to talk to someone who makes the chips and you might be able to tell them exactly what you want. by the way, alot of people who race in brackets prefer an automatic. you don't have to be fast just consistent. i race in brackets, with a manual, to me its more of a challenge, but i've been beaten by 18 second cars.

i've got an auto and i have been to the tracks. they are alot more consistent on E.T.'s Manuals let you improve on your times or vice versa... It's mainly a matter of preference as far as the track goes. in auto x it's definetly manual advantage.
