id wait for a response from the company before making any over the top assumptions. this could be limited to one model, or one factory, or one production date, or one shipment of metal.
a company doesnt get a reputation like HRE's without having proven itself more than once. Lingenfelter's 427 C6s come with HREs. i think this whole issue will become a little less dramatic once the real problem is addressed...
but for now, let's point and laugh

Geez guys, I come back from lunch and I get all of this. You guys must love me.

Dude, I got them because they looked nice. Call it bling bling or whatever you want, I could care less. I'll never race them, that's what I have my stock wheels for. My friend Martin (Iceman_05 on here, I think) doesn't like them either, but he doesn't run his mouth off like you do. You're the one guy in every web forum that thinks his opinion is the truth and doesn't hesitate to spread the gospel. I don't care what your opinion of my wheels is because I think they look good and that's all that matters.
Thanks Nick.
Except for that last sentence.
What's your point?
You have never gotten anyone panties in a bunch, including mine.

They're HRE's, that just means they have the same value as rims that go "bling", or they're HRE's so they were designed for extreme race? Apparently they're not designed for race. So they must be all about the bling bling yo, right? You then told me that Rotas were shit, because I used to have them on my car. Well, Rota hasn't been banned from racing series. So what they don't cost $2000+.

Eventhough in that Audiworld thread it does say that nowhere in any of the organization's rulebooks did it say that they were banned. But that doesn't matter b/c one person made an opinion and voiced it as loud as they can.
