Hey I posted on crossroads.com about a week ago about seeing your Skyline on the street near Fairoaks Mall. I was in a white Mustang cruisin next to you with my friend driving my car. He was flippin out cause he's never seen an R33 on the road before. You may remember cause I had a digital camera all over your ride while driving. I made a short video and right as it cut off you seemed to put your foot down a bit. At that time my moron buddy decided to try and downshift, misses the gear and then attempts to catch back up. LoL, funny stuff. Sweet car man!

 

tkrskyline, nice ride man, the guys on the subaru boards were talking about your car a while back as well. I live in Nova also, if you ever see me, feel free to wave, I drive a black converted Sileighty and probably the biggest Nissan fanatic you'd ever meet.

 

Actually, I think Jeff ("Shinobi") is the biggest Nissan fanatic I could possibly ever meet. If you're worse than him, you need help. Got pics of your car you can post? I'm a Nissan head too.

 

Cool...like sileighties a lot. I am almost frinished building my s13 silvia. Waiting on the ecu and a few things left to hook up. If you know a lot about doing the sr swap, I could probably really use some help and basic info to make sure i am doing some things right. Here is what it looks like at the moment:


And banshee, I dont know if you noticed, but there was somone in a civic on the other side of me at that light filming me too. I got a little nervous about people on either side of me watching me to closely and maybe not the road...especially the civic as it was the driver filming me....thats when i took off. I dont really race especially now due to a small overboosting problem I am having.

 

My boy who just built and installed his Type R motor might be able to help; but I'm not sure if he's ever dealt with SRs. I could ask him and let you know if he's interested in helping....not this weekend though. I'm holding him captive to work on my Z.

 

tkrskyline, if you dont mind me asking but do you know of any skylines in the hampton roads area?

 

I don't have a digital camera, but my buddy at work just took some pics for me, so as soon as he uploads them, i'll post them up. As far as my swap went, I had HeavyThrottle do the whole thing, at the time i wasn't very knowledgeable about it, and after totalling out my brand new WRX, i needed a car quick, so i didn't really have time to mess with it. But I'd be glad to bring my car over sometime and let you take a look to see how things were done.

nope, don't go to college, if you do see me, it's a rare occassion or I'm on my way to work, i normally head to richmond on the weekends, and i don't really go out and do much during the week
