I was pulled over for doing 125 in a 55. But no ticket... My radar detector picked them up before I got to them so I had time to slow down to the speed limit. Then came 6 cops behind me to pull me over. Between them not catching me speeding and what seemed to be some emergency call that they got. I got off with a you're a lucky punk. That was back in the firebird days.

No moving violations in the past two years. No tickets in the past year and half maybe 4 moving violations total and close to 100 non-moving violations. There was a sad point in my life that I had too many court dates. Marie was having to go through my tickets and reminding me of when I had court.

I highly doubt that's true.. I guarantee you the majority of them were not moving violations, at least. You wouldn't have enough free time OUTSIDE of jail if you have 42 moving violations in your life, let alone in 3 months

He didn't specify moving or non-moving. Either way, 42 icket at an average of about $50 per ticket. Thats $2100 in three months. So moving or non-moving i'm glad that was not me.

The important thing is I learned my lesson early and don't really speed at all any more. I remember the days of making it to Bristol to see my brother in a hour and a half and making it to Columbus OH in 4 1/2-5 hours...

It's still my opinion that dark tint and missing or damaged plates will get you pulled over a lot more. Just watch a episode of cops. They are always saying "hey were going to do a routine traffic stop for his rear plate being missing/lopsided or something and see what we can dig up"...
