but all i know is when a diff thread a week pops up about the same ignorant shit, and week after week it turns into a flame fest of VW's why the fuck do they keep posting it?
is it humorous that they try and defend themselves to no avail, they only get more vw owners to join the boards just to post like complete idiots and make the VW crowd look even worse?
im not doing anything here, the few people i have been discussing this with in this thread have not been tools, or idiots, but they are defending what they stand behind. they arent the usual tools that come n this board and talk shit.
its just a repetative thing that can be stopped only when their burning desire of acceptance of this trend is finally given up on.

Then leave it alone. Plain and simple. If it isn't your style then don't worry about it. You do realize that the argument is going on because people like yourself don't understand the style and never will? Yes it might be stupid to you but to people like me who have been a VW fan from the get go it is pretty interesting and it's nice to see some different content posted on these forums other than the usual hondas mustangs and corvettes that do get posted.

Sorry nag... VW peeps have been doing this shit for a very long time. If it is a trend, it's a lasting one. You're gonna be waiting a really long time for the look to go away. Best bet... if you don't like it, don't do it! Nobody is getting hurt by making their cars look different. I joined this forum a LONG time ago (former Honda owner here) and I now run a VW forum (the one with all the old guys in it) and for the most part, I have bo beef with what anyone else is doing. I didn't realize that stretching/poking had such an ill effect on non-VW owners opinions. I mean... VW peeps make fun of V-Tech all the time (lol... yeah, I intentionally spelled it like the phone) but it doesn't make them angry. I might also be more chill than most since I'm an old fart. VWs are just my thing now and I like the looks. It's like they say... beauty is in the eye of the beholder (but my vision is getting pretty bad)

Jeez, I agreed to drop it already. It was one sentence (not a deep, profound one at that) so it could only have a few possible meanings. Either way, it didn't really add anything to the topic at hand, so would've been better left out, just like my reply to it.
