ugh... i hate my trucks color....
i dont want to put chrome wheels on it... but i dont know if black wheels will look good though... especially since the truck is blue / bronze / chrome trim
might plasti-dip my wheels tomorrow to see if it looks good tomorrow
Pics to come if i do

^^ I can't remember but if your truck is the Deep Blue with the Lariat BrownishBronze two tone, that color combo looks great with tinted windows and black wheels. Even with matte black douchey Fuel Hostages... my friend has that set up, I'll try to find a picture of his truck.
^^ Was not expecting that.. I have the Dark Pearl Blue on my 08 and plastidipped wheels as well and love it.. Not sure if it is the two tone that throws your setup off or what.. Orrrr... Don't plastidip the center caps.. that might be it.. Look back a few pages at mine and get an idea. The center caps still being chrome change the look and make it better I think. I can take some new pics if you would like.
Edit, here ya go

i actually found those pics on the internet and it made me WANT to do it....
honestly.... i'm just going to deal with my stock wheels until i can afford polished aftermarket wheels... thinking either 18x9 polished Rockstars +0 or polished Moto Metal 962 18x10 -24
but i want to be able to run my 275/70/18 tires... because i will be buying wheels first... then when it's time to replace these tires going with 35s
275/70 is a little over 11 inches wide so mathematically i dont see a problem with the 18x10's... but i read online that 18x9's would be safer... but i look online elsewhere and i see "rim range" is 7-8.5inches
help wheel guys!!!

I agree on the rockstars.. too overused.. I was going to go with a set of Rockstar II's since they are newer and no one around here has them, but waiting till I run my 35's down and switch up to 37's so I can fit a 20 and still have some meat.
From what I know and have read about our trucks, a 18x10 would be too wide for that tire.. It COULD work but might not look the best or be the best.. I am running 35/12.50/17's on my stock 17s which I believe are 7 or 7.5 wide.. and that is probably its limit in the opposite direction than you are wanting to go. Tire size is typically 1.5x the size of the rim.
How much tread life is left on them? Just to run till they are spent probably won't be bad.
