That rear end is cool and all (I know it's a show car, which trumps all common sense), but I'm not sure where the 1650HP rating came from (probably the theoretical rating of just the gears, without factoring in the case?), and I'm not sure why it was necessary to spend that much money for a diff for a 650HP engine on a light car. Just about any flavor of Ford 9 housing could handle that engine without a problem. For the money they spent on the 4 billet cases ($15k per case, $60k for the 4), they could have sandcast the cases from magnesium, post-machined the important areas, polished and coated the gears, then taken a tropical vacation.
The lettering is annoying as fuck. And I'm pretty sure that's what Natchez was talking about...
Oh the Typeface is just fucking Stupid but I have had my fair share of dumb type faced watermarks in the past so I can't fault him on that. My gripe is the 6 braided hoses, 4 on one side and two on the other. If you want to show off the dif, which they obviously want to, why not make it symmetrical with 3 and 3?
