I think I know exactly who you're talking about. Based on his size/body did he seem like a 18-20 year old?

I met a 18 year old kid at Kroger last week who had an 07 GSXR600 that was Blue and white - he showed me pics on his phone. He's a little bullshiter.. Claims 0-100mph in 2.8 seconds... He said it was 0-60 in 2.8 when it was stock, but his 'torque chip' made it boosted it to 0-100 in 2.8 seconds. WTF?

I know, seriously.

If I were to get into it, and had the experience, I'd get one badass bike, and dumb some major ass money into it to make it different than the others.... and it'd be no ordinary ZX10...

Torque chip? Please fucking tell me those were the exact words that came out of his mouth! LOL! I hope he was talking about a power commander... I'm not sure of the exact specs but I don't think 0-60 in 2.8 seconds is at all out of the question. I roll on first gear from a dig and I'm doing well over 60mph faster than you'd imagine. After a quick Google search, it looks like you'd be looking at less than 2 seconds to reach 60mph from a dig. That sounds about right to me. Either way, this kid sounds like a dipshit. Call him out next time

Exact words. Torque Chip. Thats when I lost it. Probably an Ebay item?

Anyways, i'm not doubting his 0-60 time, but tell me you don't buy his new torque chip 0-100 time of 2.8....He claims he timed it... maybe in Km/h? lullzzz

He also said his redline is around 17,000 (I thought it was like 15,000) and his first gear goes to 104 or something...

Anyhow, I told him i'd be down for a run. He unknowlingly agreed upon 0 circumstances...So I will be running a high, high octane gas with ice cold alky/water mix. Whats up little bitch who thinks he's awesome.

Oh yeah,
He told me he'd run anyone up bent mountain if they want. Craig says he will, once his bike (GSXR750) is fixed. The kid is now a Senior at Hidden Valley HS..

Maybe a few changes.

We'll do some runs on the mountain roads and we'll see how important your extra 100hp and 600lbs becomes.

You're right, it does filter M-3 for faggots who don't know it's actually M3. jp

I am making a few changes to the car between now and then...when you actually decide to show up.

He did look to be 18-20. I didn't really pay attention to the bike too much. I don't think it had a pipe on it. I did not notice his helmet. I just noticed it was a 600 and proceeded to get ready to jump on it.

I know what you are saying about suzuki's but I do have an 07 750. Ever since I was young when my dad got his first sprtbike I always wanted a GSXR. 17 years later I finally got one, but yes there is one on every corner.

I know you have a 750.. I remember. I'm not bashing Suzuki--they make a good bike. The only thing I have a problem with is that everyone assumes they're the best of the best because everyone else has them. Most young kids ride them because Suzuki is easy to finance through and does not require you to have anything more than liability insurance if you do use their financing. Anyone 18-24 years old is not likely going to be putting full coverage on their bike, so it becomes a win win situation. They make good bikes, but I'm far more comfortable riding Kawasaki's. GSX-R's don't feel right to me.

On the other hand, I grew up playing with Kawasaki toys. The Ninja was iconic. If most people thought of a sportbike in that day and age, they thought Kawasaki Ninja. I had toy Ninja's I'd roll around on the floor making "vroom vroom" noises. Now I have a big one I can go vroom vroom on.

Hell yeah! My second favorite bike was the Ninja ZX-11. Star City had a burgundy one in the showroom. I was like Homer drooling over a donut.
