Haha, you basically bought the exact same bike that you used to have except it's new and now has a different name. But I don't blame you, I have the exact same one you have, color and all. Love it, still haven't broken it in, yet.

Yep. That was one of the reasons why I bought it. Now just looking at some mods(full exhaust, jet kit, frame sliders, etc).

Not sure if you know this already, probably do, but apparently there's only one brand of frame sliders that works with our bikes. It's the R&G's that are make in the UK, but they can be called/ordered from this website.

http://www.ema-usa.com/misc/R&G/misc_r_g_kawasaki.shtml

ZX6R J model for $169. You have to drill a hole the fairing to get to the engine mount bolt that frame sliders and supposed to be attached to, but it actually works. If you do it right, there won't be any signs of drilling. Here's an example of these frame sliders, they go through the coolant reservoir but they give you a modified one when you order so you can get to the bolt.

I'm going to feel retarded if you already know all of this.

Even if he does, I'm sure there are others that could benefit from the info.

I do know about the drilling and that mod. I have been on SBN for years and before I got the bike I checked some links regarding ZZR mods. However, I didn't know they supplied an extra coolant tank.

Yeah, I'm guessing that's one of the reasons why the price is kinda high. But yeah, the supplied coolant tank is needed because the other engine bolt is right behind the stock one.
