Don't get what? The domestics are ready to race, but the hondas can't, because they risk breaking stuff and can't afford to rebuild after every pass due to it being a recession? Who's fault is that? Obviously the person I was responding to felt they were the only ones risking breakage. Or maybe he just assumes we won't have to try hard enough to beat the hondas that we won't risk breaking anything?

95% sure there will be an auto single turbo supra there trying to get in the 9's. Also gonna call Scott with the GT2 that will be well in the 10's if not 9's.

Last time I checked, Honda's where not the only things breaking down. I'm sure that there a few guys with domestics that would bring trailers just in case.

The funniest part of all this is that of all the shitstorms I've gotten into with the honda guys about how they always talk about being so fast on the street, when in reality they are backing down to stock turbo mitsubishis with their supposed "really fast and beats everything yo" cars, the fall back is always lets go to the track, and now Mike has made the offer and the excuses STILL fly.
u always are posting shit about hondas and how they suck, bring what even mitsubishis u got and i bet my shit dont break or blow up, give it a rest or line it up, im really tired of reading all the bullshit comments u have to say.... im not making any kind of excusse so my car doesnt fit in the rules fine put slicks on whatever car u got and race me one time after the event

i read this entire thread just now, and i have come up with a set of ruels so that the imports will show up..
domestics can have no power adders, or positive traction rears, running on 235 regular radials on 20 inch rims. with manual trans. on 87 octaine gas with water in it. must be street legal with at least 200k miles for a v8..
imports may have race gas, e85, water meth, any power adder combo they want, and full out slicks and can be trailerd in, with no tags or insurance.
really people. just read this whole thing...lol...
who is the side that really wants to stack the deck here?
the shit talking is about who has a fast street car, so street cars is what this is about.
give the fwd cars a mph bonus since they think they can trap a better mph.. take the et and mph for each car, and figure it in to find the true fastes street cars, whatever, just stop all the bs gimme gimme attitude.
you guys are like kids at christmas. a fair race is all cars have the same stuff, if you cant win with the same stuff so be it. just come and hang out.
the normal import v domestic is stacked so far one way to give someone a chance its pathetic.. put up or shut up. bring your cars and lets all have a good time, and meet new people who like racing and cool cars.

ok now here is the deffiniton of a street car
IF YOU CAN DRIVE DRIVE IT ON THE STREET FOR AT LEAST 100 MILES WITHOUT FAILURE, ITS INSPECTION LEGAL, HAS TAGS ON IT,AND YOU WONT GET A TICKET FOR IMPROPER EQUIPMENT IF YOU TRY TO DRIVE IT, YOU CAN GET FUEL ANYWHERE YOU DECIDE TO STOP.BRING IT LIKE THAT TO THE TRACK AND RACE IT!
ITS THAT SIMPLE
slicks will get you that improper equipment ticket fyi. and you cant get e85 everywhere, you would seriously have to plan out a trip to get where you were going.
if you have a duel fuel system thats cool, because you could drive and get fuel anywhere.
water meth is cool because you dont use it all the time, it will not affect the normal driving of the vehicle

u can deffently tell what kind of car u drive

meth is cool but e85 is not what if u race 10 people on the way to flordia and are out of meth and i pull up next u what u gona do?

if the import vs demostic rules suck so bad why is it the biggest race of the year?
