Hampton man killed in weekend motorcycle crash

HAMPTON – A 23-year-old Hampton man was killed in a crash on Saturday afternoon.

Cornell Sanchez survived the initial crash but died at the hospital an hour later, according to police.

Investigators say he was speeding on Settler’s Landing Road around 4:30 p.m. and slammed into a car that had just backed out of a driveway. They say Sanchez was trying to pass the car but hit the front passenger side and was thrown from his motorcycle.

Authorities say the motorcycle he was riding had been reported stolen in June from Norfolk.

The investigation continues

 

Agreed im all about karma and act on to those as you wished to be acted on and shit but sucks that he died that way especially if he has family.

 

I am not.. I can honestly say.. that is somebody stole my bike. I hope he dies on it.

 

I can sympathize that the family had a thieving idiot for a father, but that does NOT suck that he died that way, if he hadn't been on a stolen bike he probably would have thought twice about getting hurt on HIS OWN bike. In his head he was like "whatevz, this shiz ain't mine anyway". Honestly bro' I don't think twice about that guy, and if he DOES have a family, it obviously didn't come BEFORE him having fun on a stolen bike.

 

Oh of course thats fully understand im not saying that he deserved i or that hes not an idiot. Just you know being in th emilitary and living in some of the places i have, i dont wsh death upon anyone even the most idiotic of people, murderers and rapists, and that sort is a whole different story.

in a way I see where you are coming from. But it is because of people like this that we have security systems.

Rapists and Murders start out as theives. Then then they break into some where and there a somebody there or a woman home alone and they act on the situation as to not get caught. End up raping or killing some woman because she was home when they were trying to steal something and they didnt want to go to jail.

Not saying all are like this... but when you get away with it once... you will try it again and again taking more and more risks. Which leads to bigger crimes.

Now there is one less in the world.
