Preach on brother!!!that goes with most....but i do agree 240's are the new civic!! though they are numerous....they have potentially badass setups which is the same with civics.......

people who agree or think 240's are the new civic are retarded. The only similarity the two have are, they are made from japanese automakers, and have a lot of aftermarket support but then again, there are MANY cars that fit this profile. Yes 240s was in the limelight for a lil bit, and became popular, but it will never reach the amount of Civics have for the simple reason that they have stopped producing them in 98 as well as they have never sold as well as the Civic. Just b/c many people started modding their Civic, and then 240s became popular, does NOT make 240's the next Civic.

Now this is where the 240 makes it very different than the Civic.

- front-engine RWD, and not FF crap
- different suspension
- made by Nissan, not Honduh
- great and known for drifting, something the Civic will never be able to pull off
- Different engine swaps, like the sr20det or the almighty RB25DET/RB26DETT engine, not some b18a/b/c or d16 engine.
- Different support from different companies than Honda, no skunk2 or mugen, we have SPL parts or nismo.
- Driven hard and are not pretty. 240s are probably the most abused car out there, and probably the least likely to become a showcar. Primer instead of paint, dents everywhere, drift damage, are more common than some showy 240.
- Continually being destroyed and becoming more rare everyday, by ricers who think drifting is easy and cool and slides off the road and hits a pole or some other object (this will probably be even worst when the fast and the furious 3 comes out)

And again, 240 has been discontinued, so people can't keep buying them and you will never see them on every block like a Civic.
