there is no point. the point is it doesn't matter what rim tire combo YOU think is right for my car. You don't know my car. I know MY car. so I'll put whatever combo I want. Therefore, I want a 38-42mm offset, 17x7 or 7.5 rim w/ a 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

That's what I'm trying to tell you, it can take a fast corner without rolling over like your grandma's Buick. Just because something is low doesn't mean it still has body roll. Something that's been lowered that much normally has coilovers anyway, which, as a rule, equates to stiffer spring rates and much better damping. That, along with bigger sway bars, and various other suspension goodies make that car and others like it handle very flat.
