Didn't the ZR1 run a 10.9 on street tires? Pretty sure it would win. Although everyone knows Motor Trend drivers can't drive

 

If you read the full review that they did, the vette is on cup tires (essentially slicks is what they say in the review) as is the RS. So the vette and RS both had every advantage off the line that they could, this being a drag race. They go on to say that this also obviously helped in the laps around laguna seca that they did. Just thought I would throw that in as an FYI

yeah, with a great driver behind the wheel, for what its worth, the zr1 rolls the fuck out. and i doubt every single driver in that MT race was a MT staffer. natchez even said his buddy drove the gt3rs

im sure it did, and it would have helped had they been on a prepped track ( it in all honesty, could have been prepped to the best of its conditions.)

for this to be the "greastest drag race in history" i would have liked to see them run on that 4 car drag race, and then have "ghost" cars
