Oh, it's getting clear as well.

Rattle can does fine if you actually take your time with prep before and sanding/buffing after words...... the dry time is the only ludicrous thing about using a can. Sure it may TECHNICALLY be completely dry the next day, but it isn't fully cured until a month later.

The accessory options for these things are fucking nuts, I could spend $500 in 10 minutes easy..... but don't want to..... so what are the essentials?

depends on your needs/wants-

You want to go faster? torque spring, roller weights, variator, CDI, swap, etc.

You want to look good? your choice and price point....the shy is the limit.

IMO, I would say ABSOLUTE "essentials"- lowered seat rail, not to expensive and will move you away from the bars, remove plasitcs...add tank cover, relocate tail light and ditch the light bracket (free if you have tools), and paint it a color YOU like (unless you like having the same color Ruck as everyone that bought theirs from a dealer).

Other than that it's up to you and how/where you ride.

I am pretty much happy with keeping it stock (especially since she barely runs right now), yet having a couple little additions to make it mine. Will look into the lowered seat first i think.

Then make it comfy for YOU. Sit on it and decide what you don't like or would want to change. Too close to the bars? Grips too hard? seat need more cushion? legs comfortable on the tank or would they be better stretched out....or even tucked back on some pegs? Stuff like that.

Best way to make it yours would be to paint. You can pick the color, it's not a bad way to get to know the scooter, and you'll take more pride in it when you ride.

I know he meant to say this BUT you could pay me and Ill fab your existing seat frame into a lowered frame of your choice. I could even do for as I did for JT and go with a solid seat & frame together.
