SR's throw rocker arms at high rpms. If you build the valvetrain right, it won't happen. If you rev a CA 2k above it's redline on a stock engine, I'm pretty sure it will break, too.
That being said, my stock SR20DET would have shit all over your stock CA18DET. But I still love you.
yes undoubtly tim...and i love u too...let me clarify...the ca revs better W/OUT built valve train...and my motor has seen 8k+ a few times (not purposefully of course, no revlimit plus misshifting = bad driver ) and my head is intact...i know a person in dc who did it once and had to take the head apart...and its been shown countless times on the forums
