Said fuck it, new tail going on. Moved the battery up a little and cleaned up ALOT of the wiring under the seat. Should be able to do it for damn near free using the stock seat locks and subframe.

Thank you Mr. Ducati 748 with the twisted tornado sticker for splitting lanes on 66 going to work today. Thanks to you lots of people thing people on bikes are ass holes and it did not help when you proceeded to jokey in between all the cars and use the merge lane as a way to get ahead.
