i used f4i you should be able to find in decent conditon for @4000

i'd suggest it for a first bike. because of FI as well as not being 'older' and real easy to upgrade. if a bike was gently laid over or fell over in the driveway/low speed.. cracked plastic GREATLY reduces the price of a bike. as long as the frame and engine are both good just about anything else is easy to replace.

once you think the bike is 'slow' an upgrade of chain/sprokets will quickly bring life bike to your bike.

just respect w/e you end up with, because any monkey can twist the throttle and you WILL want to.
