Yeah, most people w/ the same kit run 20psi for daily driving and see upper 300's/low 400's. Course, 60-1's a big turbo, and 20psi is really low in it's efficiency range. With race gas and 24-26 psi, people see 430-480 depending on mods/tune, and with a built engine and turned up to 30+ people see 500+(one day...)
Remembering seeing a blue rsx a long time ago w/ a fmic at one of the srt meets. He knew one of the guys there. After he left, he said that the rsx was a 400+ whp rsx, coulda been him.
Naw, that prob was poweredbyacuras on here. He has the blue turbo'd one. The guy that ran such a crappy time has a silver one. They both put down similar numbers on pump gas though. I can't see myself with that much power in my daily driver. I'm going to keep mine "fun to drive"
Yeah Larry took me for a ride in his old STi once...well more of a launch. He launces that motherfucker like a bat out of hell. It'll get it, but they start running out of steam.
i've heard that you can't just rev it to redline and dump the clutch on those cars, you still have to slip the clutch somewhat. i saw one at the track and it sounded like he was slipping it off the line. i believe his best runs were high 12's.
if you dump the clutch you will bog down, most likely, or burn em... you do have to slip the clutch, i think i heard if you can smell clutch and still pull hard as a bitch, its a good launch
