Brock doesn't like Richmond because he could only get a 14.2@98 out of his GT he had. But I don't go to VMP because the last time I ran there it was $32, the tech people were dicks and didn't know wtf they were talking about (had some black chick over their trying to tell me about my car being unsafe), it's another 45 minutes for me, and I run slower at VMP.
That has nothing to do with it... and it wasn't a 14.2 either. I don't like Richmond because it's a fucking hillbilly track with pot holes in it and the pits are nothing but mud, nor do they prep the track. The people there are retarded with their mullets and Skoal spit stained Earnhart shirts. VMP is a better track, hands down. I can't believe we're even arguing it.

Is it norwalk that is partially downhill at the end? IIRC there's some track up there in the northeast that is partially downhill, which explains the times being better there than most other places. That may just be a rumor though.
Oh, and VA = humidity, and humidity = suck. FWIW, there was 75% humidity that night, and it was 85 degrees outside. VMP is 100ft above sea level IIRC, but the DA thanks to that wonderful weather was like it was 2200ft up. I've been at VMP when the DA was -100 though, that was fun.
