I'm going to put out a little more of an opinion that everyone else.
What are you looking for out the car? Do you care what other people think about the car, or do you care what YOU think about the car? Yes a 1000hp Supra is awesome, but that is something that I can see someone buying because noone likes them, and they are trying to get attention from all the other people in the scene. You realize if you buy the Supra, you constantly going to get asked to race, and it will constantly be surrounded in parking lot. Every ricer in your area will know who you are, and everyone of them is going to want to be your friend.
The Porsche on the other hand, is a completely different story. It's a much more subtle car. It's still got a GREAT amount of power to it, but if someone little ricer seen it rolling down the interstate, they would probably just think of it as some other rich guy, and drive off.
Both cars are going to get a lot of attention, but from a different group of people.

I like the Supra more. I just wish it wasn't built. I don't like the interior of the Porsche, and I like Porsche outside, but I don't see that when driving.
If the Poopra wasn't built, and had that mileage, I would get the poopra...

Porsche...They probably post the same times at the drag strip anyways (if you're into that kinda stuff)

there are a lot of ways to go with this. and it really depends on what you want. in the long run, the supra will cost a lot less to service from a dealer.
