It's the cutoff that produces the color effect on OEM HID's. The light IS scattered he just has nothing directly in front of him to show it.

No offence to Lee because its his taste and it doesnt look bad or anything to me. But I dont like purple or blue. First it doesnt give you better vision and second when getting HID's some people try to emulate higher end cars. But higher end cars dont have 10000k or 12k bulbs with that purple hue. So your basically IMO emulating a sport compact owner with colored wannabe HID bulbs. But thats just my opinion

BTW lee congrats

Exactly why I said it doesnt look luxury at all, it looks like a teenager with an HID kit. No luxury car looks like that, its right up there with metal wings and body kits. Except this one blinds others.

HID is awesome.
they're not any brighter than 4300k lights.. in fact, they have less light output. it's just a different color, if not dimmer. the reason people complain is because it blinds other drivers.

10K is plenty good for me. More than adequate lighting over my stock headlamps.

It is not blinding to other drivers if you follow the directions and set the level correctly. That should go without saying. As with ThroatyStang, my color is also more violet/purple IRL.

First of all I am not trying to Luxury, I couldnt give a fuck about any of those cars. I love the light output, 100X more than Halogen, I like the color of them and they look unique. Do I care about blinding other people, nope not at all, Ive been blinded by people w/ Projectors for years, just as much as i have w/ a normal housing setup.

Alfie they do make projectors for Mustangs they suck, look like shit In addition you cant fit a HID bulb inside them. They are garbage.

blue i can live without but it's not the worst thing in the world.

i actually want to find something like this for my car, but with MORE of a yellow tint, like the prototype lemans cars.

throatystang, you get that turbo setup on your car yet?
