its a 1991 MR2, completely gutted out, about to have roll bar welded up...painted inside/out . then going to re-install built engine.

As long as it has a valid registration sticker you can bring anything. I don't know if it will pass without a windsheild though. But I'm sure since you will have a full face shield on you can run.

 

No glass? They were pretty strict about keeping the windows up last year.

 

Just wondering , I was always told it had to pass inspection or at least have a state inspection , maybe im wrong , but I thought this was suppose to be for street legal cars ???

You do have to have a windshield and side windows !!!!

 

What I don't understand is that with all this hype, why aren't there sponsorships or incentive money involved from the Track? I went to the last event of last year and had a blast. It would be great to see this thing evolve into an actual series of some sort through the local shops offering up some moolah. Has that ever happened for the Wednesday night events?

With most of those kids barely having enough to get out to the track, it would be great to see a few cash prizes IMHO.
