i dont agree wih drinking and driving. i think its the stupidest thing anybody can do. i almost lost my uncle in a boating accident due to alcohol. but just bc i disagree with his fathers actions doesnt mean imma blame the kid. hell for all we know he might have gone to work gotten drunk after and was on his way home. i doubt the kid willingley let his dad go and get drunk and crash the car.

I'm sorry that this happened to you and your family man, you seem like a pretty good guy. You're going to be in a position to do a lot of good for your family in the time ahead if you're willing to step up and be a man. Its going to be your responsibility to make sure that your father gets the help that he needs, and doesn't do anything else to endanger himself or others.

This is a reversal of the parent/child role, and it will be difficult but its something that you're going to have to do for your family. I think that you should begin looking into alcoholism and do some research so that you can figure out exactly what to do. If you need any advice I'm sure that many people on here would be willing to help you out in any way that they can.
