Need a job in the SS, $8+ an hour, full time
Don't parking lot attendants at most dealerships get paid 8-10 per hour? Just get paid by driving cars around the lot as needed.
Or try and become a car salesman. Lots of potential to make good money.

i can teach you about the cat 3 (phone) and anything you got questions about.....i think i still have my fiber training manuals laying around to....
And no...it's not that hard...it's 1 pair for digital phones (dkt) ....or 2 pairs for ekt phones (eletronic key phones) older phone systems and most of your house phones........
pairs in order (for cat3)
white blue
blue white
white orange
orange white
white green
green white
white brown
brown white
for a digital phone you punch down using a 110 blade the white blue & blue white pair.....for eletronic key phones you punch down white blue & blue white....on pins 3,4 *center pins* than put down white orange to pin 2 than orange white to pin 4
A punchdown tool is used for all 110 blocks and type 66 blocks....some blocks require the use of there own special punch down blade...
Most jacks if there ICC or standerd use a 110 blade....
Now if your making mod ( like cat 3 plugs...cat 5 plugs....etc ) plugs you will need crimper
never run cat 3 & cat 5 side by side with live power....run them at least 4-5 feet away to keep any cross talk or that annoying ass Hmmmmmmmmmm off the lines....older ekt's had ALOT of problems and most house phones with this...when crossing over power allways cross at a 90 degree angel
Type of cable for commucation work
Cat 3
Cat 5
Cat 5e
Cat 6
Cat 3 25 pair
Cat 3 50 pair
Cat 3 100 pair
Cat 5 25 Pair
Cat 5 50 Pair
Cat 5 100 Pair
Cat 5e 25 Pair
Cat 5e 50 Pair
Cat 5e 100 Pair
Fiber multiemode ( and all that good LC - ST shit )
*paired cables can go anywere from 25-1000 pairs...it's a pain in the ass to run and rember the color code*
Never splice cat 5, Cat 6 or any of the multi pair cables ( 25 and up ) just steal another pair if you can off the larger cables
Fiber cannot bend anymore than 120 degress before damaging the glass ferrule...be carefull when you pull it...to much pulling while "Short" the glass......the glass breaks and barely touches inside the sheath causing a loss of data tranmssions...and an overall attention and pain in the ass errors
there is footage requirments for the longest distance you can run any cable....i dont have them in front of me right this momment
Need anymore info just ask....i think ive said WAY more than needed
Tools that you cannot get at most places (graybar has them..some lowes do)
Linemans Phone
Beans * splicers for cat 3 *
Punchdown Tool with assorted blades
Punch down blocks...big ass white block with a shitload of places for cable's to go....used as a splice point for phone...makes it alot easier to trouble shoot
Cat 5 Testers....etc
Of course alot of off the shelf crap from craftsman etc...cutters...dykes...etc

NO MORE FUCKING OFF-TOPIC RAMBLING. I can't say I blame you guys because it ended up in SPO, but the mod that moved this to SPO should've deleted posts instead of moving the thread and making it even more fucked up.
