It's not a BAD looking car persay. it grew on me a tad bit. But I still dislike it's look altogether. I kinda love to hate it.

Its not 1960 anymore!! Its 2006!! cars change over time.. The new GTO wasnt meant to look like the old one, it was meant to be a new car.... a updated GTO!! Drive the New GTO and drive a old one.. tell me what one you like better....

failed miserably?? Hell check out the GTO Forums.. Gm only planned for a 3 year run of the gto.. 18,000 units were to be built in 04, and 15,000-18,000 in 05 and 06!! gm SOLD near 50,000 GTO's in 3 years.. Thats not really failing miserably!! They sold 15,740 in 2004, and 11,704 in 05.. Especially when the gas price for 93 octane is 2.99!!

edit 11K last year, and 13K in 04. that's still a lot less than the projected sale.

Nope but last year when the 05's came out the gas was pretty high up there and this year also for the 06's..

besides, you have all that power, and still can't run a 12. ashwin runs a 13.0 on strret tires with an auto, and about 100 less hp than you.
whole lotta good that big mean motor is doing you.
