I disagree with you on this. A good friend of mine who is not on here, has a nicely built b series that is making well over your rare claim of 205 whp and 140 tq. I am not gonna go into any details but all motor no power adders making over 210 hp is very gratifying. Especially after he ran a 03-06ish Sti with some mods and walked it by cars. But i do understand what you are saying about jsut throwing a turbo kit on and tuning it. But All motor walking boosted car would satisfy me more than boosted beating boosted. And i love the way vtec pulls in my car when its screaming.

 

If you look around in this area...most all motor setups that people do..DO NOT go past 200whp..im just telling you from what ive seen. i know it can be done..and ive seen it done..but it seems like you have to squeeze out every ounce of the motor,just to get it put down a number that you could eclipse with a turbo just by twisting a knob on a boost controller.

as far as a NA honda walking a turbo honda??? should never happen if the turbo car was built/tuned right.

 

yea i understand tuned and all that, i mean id rather have a nice tuned reliable turbo car myself, but to beat one in a motor car would be very nice too.

 

i saw a d15b7 make 220-240whp on a dyno. with not a single mod, except 150shot..... Just once...then it made 330whp..for a total of about 60rpms....you jsut cant hurt a D15B7...holding a 150shot like nothing...beast. But as far as n/a - turbo hondas....if you want people to THINK your gonna be fast...n/a....if you wanna BE fast, I think we all know whats best.

Yah. I just watched a video on street fire where some guys pour'd water into the oil cap... and reved it for 2 mins straight... did burnouts with it... got a rod knock, and the motor kept going. Pour'd more water into it... kept going. I think it had no oil, just water. Lol.
