Stock g35's are slow as beans.You should be able to get a mid to low 14 in the 1/4.Parts are very expensive for the amount of power you get.A used base model g35 should run about 19k-24k.I bought mine for 38k but that was 3 years ago and it was brand new and fully loaded.So don't pay to much for yours like I did.

 

i've seen maybe 1 s2k in my lifetime outside of a carshow with stickers on it. I would also love for you to show me 1 with an aftermarket Tach..... You are an idiot

 

I would go G35 if you want something nicer and more luxurious. But a S2K is also nice due to the fact it's a droptop.

 

the only time I've seen an S2k with "stickers galore" on it outside of a car show was when the person was on the way to or from a car show and didn't pull them off the exact moment they stepped out of the show. And I've never seen any S2K EVER with an autometer tach or anything like that.

Thanks for all the input everyone. I think what i am going to do is wait until the new g35 comes out this year and hope a few nice 04's get traded in. When i do get one i will put some pics on here and how i like it. Thanks again.

 

i heard some rumors about a new hardtop convertible G35 that might make an appearance at the end of next year as an 08. if you can hold out that long

The G35 interior has more room than an S2k and being an Infiniti is gonna be alot more on the luxury side of things. The G35 also has a decently sized trunk for bags, drugs, or whatever else you desire. I've never rode in an S2k but as mentioned before the G35 does drive nice and has a good amount of power, not to slow but not balls to the walls fast either if thats what your looking for. Bad side of things is G35's are pretty pricey and as also mentioned can guzzle some gas.
